Welcome to Da Camera Singers

Da Camera Singers is a chamber choir based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.  The choir was formed in 1961 and has been delighting audiences in the Edmonton area ever since, making it Edmonton’s longest standing chamber choir. Da Camera Singers' repertoire consists of a broad range of classical music from the Renaissance to the 20th century. Each season Da Camera Singers presents three public performances in addition to being hired by other arts organizations, corporations and individuals.

On December 6, 2009 Da Camera again has the pleasure of performing with the Alberta Baroque Ensemble at their "Music for a Festive Season" concert. Da Camera Singers is proud to announce the release of our latest CD project Eulogies, featuring a capella music by Canadian composers. Featured works include John Estacio’s “Eulogies,” Eleanor Daley’s “Requiem,” and two works commissioned by Da Camera Singers: “the only face I want is yours” by Leonard Enns and “Arise, O God,” by Frances Macdonnell. Eulogies will be released formally at our first concert of the 2009-2010 season, titled Bach and Mendelssohn, on November 1st, 2009 at 3pm at First Baptist Church.
